Born in 1961 and brought up in Japan, she obtained an university degree in telecommunication engineering, before working as an IT engineer in Tokyo, Japan. After studying English and Chinese, she moved to the U.K. in 1991. Having worked as a technical translator, she trained at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH), Imperial College in London, and gained a Diploma and also a Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis. A mother of three teenage children.

She is specialising in treating smoking cessation, fears, anxiety, anger, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues and painless childbirth. Besides running her practice, She ran self-hypnosis workshops at Hounslow Adult Education Centre and was a tutor for clinical hypnosis courses for LCCH and Thames Valley University until 2008.

She has also had thorough treatments in hypnotherapy herself for stopping smoking, weight control, depression, and relationship issues, added benefit of which is that she is now free from asthma, allergy and migraine. In addition, her memory, concentration, learning ability, and creativity have substantially improved. She now feels the happiest and healthiest in her life, as if she was reborn.
